We had a romantic escape at a lovely countryside retreat. The cottage was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. We were pleasantly surprised to find fresh eggs from the owner's chickens, adding a nice touch to our stay. The surrounding pine trees and bird-filled atmosphere created a peaceful and serene environment. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby town, which had charming shops and a unique dining experience at a restaurant with a live streaming theater.
One minor issue was the lack of a blind in the bathroom, which could be a habit for those used to more privacy. Additionally, the walls were quite thin, making it easy to disturb others if moving around at night.

We had a wonderful stay at a cute and handsome cottage-style accommodation called Pickles. The studio faced a small garden square with a pergola, providing a shaded area with cafe-style seating. We were pleasantly surprised by the powerful shower and the availability of very hot water. The cottage was modern, spacious, and well-equipped for a self-catering break. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and we enjoyed watching a variety of garden birds from the lounge settee. The accommodation was centrally heated with thermostatically controlled radiators in every room. The hosts were flexible, great at communicating, and check-in was a breeze. We felt safe throughout our stay and enjoyed the tranquility of the countryside.
No negatives from this place. 😊

We loved the peaceful and secluded setting of the cottages, perfect for a romantic escape. The surrounding countryside was stunning and provided a great opportunity for cycling on the country lanes. The hosts were fantastic, providing us with important information and making us feel safe and secure. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the cottage itself was incredibly clean and warm. Waking up to the sound of birds and enjoying the tranquility of the countryside was a true retreat from the chaos of everyday life. We also appreciated the TV and radio in the morning, providing some entertainment during our stay.
One aspect we were not entirely satisfied with was the couch in the cottage. It wasn't as comfortable as we would have liked, but this was a minor inconvenience.
